Counting down

It is three days away from the end of school and the summer is so close that I can taste it...graduation has come and gone and it was quite an experience. I will include a few pictures at the end of the post as well as a few of the kids. I am truly excited about taking the summer off from school and just enjoying my family. Brayden is getting so big and Emily is just as prissy as ever. Tanner is becoming more and more of a teenager with the inquisative nature but he is also still a youngster in the fact that he wants to go and play and just enjoy his time off. He will leave on Sunday for the first three week visit to his dads and then he will be home. It is always hard the first time that we take him but I know that it will come and go and then the next visit will go by quickly and then the beginning of school will be upon us-lets just get through the first few weeks.

Well as I have promised...here are some pics from graduation and then a few of the kids.

Graduation

I know that it has been a while since I last posted and there is good reason for that. I have been hard at work trying to finish the semester at SPC and get ready for graduation as well as getting back into the swing of things at work. So much is going on that I have hardly had time to stop and breath let alone do much of anything else. I am excited that this Friday is graduation and that I will finally get a break from school and I can enjoy a summer break.

I am getting excited about my sister-in-law's preggo belly and how things are going very well for them...they have a doctor's appointment this Thursday and I am hoping that they get good reports. Next month we should be able to find out whether it is a boy or a girl...I hope that all of you are having a great week and I promise I will try to post more often.

Its been a while

Yes...I know that it has been a while since I was last here to let everyone know how things are going. So here I am. I started back to work today after being gone on maternity leave and I must say that it was hard but it was also good to get back into the swing of things. Brayden is staying with my mother-in-law this week and although it was nice to get a really good nights sleep, I truly miss my little one being home.

We had a really good Easter and I did manage to get one picture of Emily and Brayden-Tanner feels as though he is too old for that sort of thing so...I will post the pic at the end of my post. I can't believe that this time next month I will be graduating from SPC and then getting ready to start at Wayland in the fall.

I am looking forward to being able to go to a Coaches Outreach banquet Monday night and then on Thursday we have our all sports banquet and then believe it or not...spring football is here...it is hard to imagine that things are moving so quickly. I hope that everyone is having a great week and I will try to keep everyone more up to date.

Spring break is over

Well, tomorrow school starts back and I am just a little sad that my husband is having to go back to work. I have truly enjoyed him being home with me and helping me with the baby as well as Emily and actually getting some things done around the house. I know that it is gonna be a little difficult to get back into the swing of things but I am looking forward to getting into some type of routine. I can't believe that tomorrow Brayden will be two weeks old-it doesn't seem like it has been two weeks but it has...he is changing everyday and I am just amazed at how protective Emily is of him. I am truly blessed.

Yesterday, we learned that my brother-in-law and his wife are expecting and that the baby will be here late October...YES!!! I am so excited for them I know that they have truly been aching for a little one of their own and they will finally be blessed with one.

I guess I need to end this post for now so that I can get my kiddos into bed and get them ready for tomorrow and whatever it may bring.

Enjoying some time at home

Well it is the beginning of spring break and I am really glad that everyone will be able to just hang out and have some quality time together. Jeremy's parents will be here for the biggest part of the week to enjoy the grandchildren. I look forward to being able to getting to visit with them as well as anyone else who might stop by.

I hope that the weather will warm up just a little so that at least Emily and Tanner will be able to get out of the house for a little while. I hope that everyone is having a great start to their spring break and will post more later.

Announcing Brayden Heath Wright

Well Monday morning around 4:00 AM I started having contractions and they lasted until about 6:00 or so. I went ahead and went to work because I had a meeting and shortly after getting there I called the doctor's office and he had me come in and see him. Shortly after getting to his office he decided that I just needed to go ahead and go to the hospital-YEA!!! I called Jeremy and told him what was going on and shortly after 10:00 AM I was in a hospital gown getting ready to start my whole laboring process. It took a while for things to get really going but once they did, there wasn't any problems.

Brayden Heath made his arrival into this world at 5:32 PM and he weighed 7 lbs 10.6 ozs. and was 20 1/2 inches long. He is doing well and our whole family is so happy that he is finally here. I feel that our family is now complete. I have just a few pictures that I will include in this post and I hope that everyone is doing well!!

Waiting for Wednesday

OK...so my next doctor's appointment is Wednesday morning early and I am hoping that he will just tell me then that we are going to the hospital and that we are finally gonna have this baby boy!! I am so ready for all of this to be over, don't get me wrong, I love being pregnant and I love the feelings that no one else can experience during the whole process but it has been a rather long nine months and I am truly ready to hold my new little one in my arms. Both Tanner and Emily are ready to see their new baby brother. Jeremy is just ready for something to be different...who knows what though. We are just excited that it is so close to being here but yet wee still have to wait another 3 days before we know for sure.

Maybe the next time that I post I will have some really exciting news...I hope that everyone has a wonderful week and God bless each of you!!

Just a few pics

I know that I said that I would post a few pictures from the shower and so here they are...we weren't able to get many because the batteries in the camera died before the shower was over.

Here I am at the table just before it started

Baby Shower

Today the church that Jeremy and I attend is giving us a baby shower and I am very excited to see what wonderful treasures will be given for Brayden to use when he makes his arrival. Jeremy's family is coming in and I am really looking forward to getting to see them and visit with them. It seems like there always has to be something else happening in order to get all of us together for a good visit. We are all so busy with our own lives that we can never seem to just get together for the heck of it. I really enjoy being able to see my brother-in-law and his wife as well as my father and mother-in-law. Jeremy's grandmother is coming with them and I am glad that she will be here to see the kids. She doesn't get out much and so she enjoys being able to travel to see everyone.

I learned just a couple of days ago that my application for graduation from SPC has been accepted so now all that I need to do is finish the last two classes that I have and then I can move on to a bachelor's program!! I am so excited to reach this milestone and know that it won't be much longer and I will be fulfilling a dream that I have long had. I hope that all of you have a great weekend and I will post pictures from the shower soon!!

Just a little while longer

We are just about done with getting the babies room ready. We have to go to Lubbock this afternoon so that we can get a few pieces of furniture since everywhere that we have looked in Plainview doesn't have what we are wanting. I am really excited to finally get things done and just focus on resting and taking care of the rest of the family until Brayden finally gets here.

School is going very fast this semester and for that I am glad because it will be time for graduation before I know it. The kids are doing well and I enjoy watching them just play and have fun with each other...I hope that everyone is having a great weekend and that you are all ready to start a new work week tomorrow.

Really quick

I know that it has been a while since my last post but we have been really busy trying to get things done around the house as well as the spring semester has started at SPC and even though I am only taking 6 hours there is a lot of required reading for those 6 hours. We were finally able to get the baby's room set up and I am anxiously awaiting his arrival-I know that it is still 6 weeks away but I can't wait.

This past Monday was the first of two baby showers that we are being honored with and I was so happy to get so many wonderful things for Brayden-yes, that is his name. After it was all said and done I went home that evening and began putting things away and moving things around and I am looking forward to the next baby shower toward the end of the month to see what wonderful things we will be getting there. I didn't bring my camera to the shower but there is a picture that was taken of me and Tracy with the wonderful cake and I will hopefully be able to post it soon so that all can see it...I hope that everyone is doing well and I promise to post more later!!

Weekend time

Well here it is Friday evening and we are getting ready to go to the pancake supper and then to watch the girls and boys basketball teams take on Abilene Cooper...Tanner is on his way to Plains to spend some time on the farm with his other side of the family. He always enjoys going out there and "doing" something with the tractors or whatever else they have going on. We have plans this weekend to start clearing out the office and begin bringing baby things in from the storage building. I know that I have at least another six weeks or so before he gets here but I can't helped but be a little stressed about the fact that we don't have his room even started. I am truly looking forward to getting started on it.

It's a good thing that most of the stuff that we are wanting to do will be inside since the weather is going to be changing to more winter-like then spring. I am hoping that winter will arrive soon and that maybe we will get some type of moisture. I don't want a whole lot of it but we so desparately need something to help settle the junk that seems to be getting everyone's sinuses all worked up. Well I guess that I need to go and get ready for the supper and the game. I hope that all of you have a wonderful weekend and that you all stay warm!!

I know that I promised to have these posted earlier in the week but I am just now getting time to get these scanned and posted...hope that everyone can tell what they are suppose to be and God bless!!

Long weekend

It is a long weekend for us as we don't have school on Monday and I am looking forward to being able to get some things done around the house that are desperately needing to be done. We did get Emily's room re-arranged as well as her dresser and closet completely cleaned out and ready for the "new" clothes that she has gotten within the last few weeks or so. She is doing lots better...she hasn't had an allergic outbreak since Thursday evening and I am so glad that things are going well for her.

Well I will start my final semester at SPC on Tuesday...I am really looking forward to getting started and then being able to finish and then getting the opportunity to move on to the next step. I hope that everone is having a good weekend and that you all get to rest and relax before having to go back to school on Tuesday.

Doctor's appointment

Our doctor's appointment today went very well...the doctor didn't see anything abnormal on the sonogram and said that the baby looks very well. HE...yes it has been confirmed...weighs about 3 pounds and 9 ozs...a little bigger then normal but that is OK. Jeremy is very happy at all of the good news that we received especially about the confirmation of it being a BOY. I do have some good pictures that I will post so that everyone can hopefully see...I want to thank all of you for the many prayers that were said during the last few weeks as we waited for this visit to finally get here. One downside to the visit is that the baby is breech but there is still time for him to turn. I do have to go back at the end of February but it is just a follow up visit and nothing more. I hope that all of you are having a great week and I will post more soon!!

Busy Week

This week is going to be rather busy for all of us...tomorrow Jeremy has a basketball game and then Tuesday I have a doctor's appointment in Lubbock and it is also Tanner's birthday. Wednesday afternoon I have another doctor's appointment here and then I have to work Thursday evening. Friday will be a day to just rest for a little while and then of course there is the weekend...we are trying to get the baby's room ready but our time seems to be running out fast. I am glad that I had a good weekend and didn't have to work the whole time...I was able to go through some clothes that were given to us for the baby and get them sorted out by sizes. The next thing that I will need to do is wash all of the clothes in baby detergent and then get them put up in the dresser. I hope that everyone had a wonderful weekend and that you are ready for another week of work...one good thing about this week is that we get a three day weekend!! God bless all of you!

Back to work...

Well...here I sit watching the last few hours of my Christmas break pass by and I am just slightly bummed about it. Although it will be good to get back into a somewhat normal routine it is hard to get yourself prepared to have to get up early in the morning as well as get the kids up and going. I hope that everyone had a really good break and that you are all ready to get back to it. I hope that everything is going well for all of you in this new year.

I do have some good news to share...my brother and his wife have a beautiful baby girl...she was born yesterday afternoon at 2:47. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 11 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. I am so excited that she has finally made her arrival!!

Doctor's appointment and Christmas

I had another doctor's appointment yesterday...this one I had to do my glucose test and man...it was quite interesting. It doesn't matter how cold you get that stuff it just doesn't taste right. I am guessing that I passed because I didn't get a phone call telling me that I needed to come back today and do the three-hour test. We also had our 3-d sono and it was interesting but the pictures didn't come out as clear as I had hoped. We did get a decent picture of the hand up near the face but Dr. Wright couldn't get a clear enough picture to be for sure of the sex...that being said Dr. Wright felt that there was something around the bladder area that didn't seem quite right and so we are having to go to a specialist in Lubbock on Jan. 13th. I would like to ask all of you that read our blog to just keep us in your prayers as we go through the next 3 weeks of waiting and wondering. As soon as I have more information I will be updating.

Christmas is tomorrow and my children are just as excited as any other child is during this time of year...my dad will be here to eat Christmas dinner with us and then we will be getting things ready for Tanner to go spend the rest of his Christmas break with his dad. I hope that all of you are having a really great break and that tomorrow brings lots of wonderful memories. God Bless each of you!!

Vacation time

I am so glad that we are finally out for Christmas and that I can do some relaxing as well as begin getting things ready for the baby. We had such a wonderful day today...Jeremy's family was here for Christmas and of course we had too much to eat and just a wonderful time spending time together. Tanner is on his way to Amarillo to spend some time with his aunt and uncle before he has to leave for Big Lake at the end of the week. Emily is playing with her new treasure that she got for Christmas and Jeremy and I are sitting on the couch just trying to recover from all of the festivities of today. I ended up with some really great things for Christmas and I am truly looking forward to enjoying them. Everyone be sure to bundle up the next couple of days because of the cold front coming through...hope that you all are well and God Bless!!

Just a little closer

Well here it is the 13th of December and I am frantically trying to get all of the Christmas presents that we have bought wrapped and under the tree...I also need to get things ready for my the family to be here next Saturday so that we can start our celebrating. I am really looking forward to spending some quality time with all of our families. I hope that everyone is having a really good weekend and that you all are able to rest and relax. I know that it is a crazy time of year and that it seems as though it is never ending but it is well worth it to see the big smiles on everyone's faces. I really don't have a whole lot to post this time around but I am looking forward to a well deserved break and hope that everyone is well during this time of year.
